Jordan excludes Syrian goods from the import ban

The Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade, Maha Ali, decided to exempt the ban on importing a number of goods from Syria for a period of three months.

Merchandise includes candies, chocolates, wafers, natural leather shoes, children’s wear, underwear, table fans, floors, walls, windows and ceilings within specified quantities.

The most prominent Syrian commodities covered by the ban decision in 2018 included coffee, tea, various types of vegetables and fruits, carbonated and mineral water, vegetable and animal oils, poultry, meat and fish.
