The indicators of the three industrial cities (Adra in the governorate of Damascus countryside, Hassia in the governorate of Homs, and Sheikh Najjar in the governorate of Aleppo) show an important renaissance within the reconstruction plan carried out by the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment, through the rehabilitation and restoration of the damaged facilities, and the infrastructure, in addition to provide assistance and subsidies to restart the stalled ones to start the production process.

In a statement, the Director of Services and Industrial Cities at the Ministry of Industry, Eng. Mayada Ahmed, said that work will be done to expand the areas of these cities in order to boost the national economy.

She emphasized that the indicators of the three industrial cities recorded, to date (with regard to the number and area of ​​allocated divisions, and the number of industrial, craft and administrative establishments, whether they are under actual construction, restoration or production), a return to the recovery of these economic facilities.

She also clarified that the Ministry has paid great attention to restoring the various facilities to their work, and as a result of these efforts, the cumulative number of industrial and craft establishments that are under construction reached 2,506 establishments, while the annual number of 33 establishments was recorded, while the number of those under construction (restoration) within a year was 9 Establishments, bringing the cumulative number to 289 establishments, and with regard to the industrial and craft establishments that are under actual production, the annual number reached 27, and the cumulative number reached 1985 establishments.
