An agreement to export citrus and fruits to Russia

The Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the signing of a contract to export 700 containers of citrus fruits and vegetables to Russia.

The agreement was signed during the visit of a Russian trade delegation to Syria at the invitation of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the visit, several agreements were signed, the first of which included the export of about 700 containers of citrus fruits, vegetables and fruits from Syrian production to markets in southern Russia.

As for the other agreement, it stipulates the establishment of a facility for sorting, packaging and packing vegetables and fruits of various kinds in Tartous, according to international standards, with Syrian-Russian investment.
