Tender to secure 39.4 thousand tons of rice

The General Organization for Foreign Trade announced a tender for total speed to secure 39.4 thousand tons of Chinese short grain Egyptian rice of the third or fourth grade.

According to the announcement, the tender is internal or external, and submission for it ends at the end of September.

Initial insurances for external offers amounted to 15 “Euros” per ton, or 591 thousand Euros for the full quantity required. As for internal insurance offers, it amounted to 22.5 thousand Syrian pounds per ton, at 886.5 million Syrian pounds for the full amount.

Regarding the contract implementation period, the Corporation stipulated that the shipment be completed within 3 months of the external offers, from the next day from the date of notification of the approval, or the date on which the direct order is notified. As for the internal offers, the delivery takes place in the warehouse of the requesting party within 3 months from the date the contractor is informed of the order to procee .

The contractor pays 1 per thousand for each day of delay, provided that it does not exceed 20 percent of the total contract value.
