Ratification of contracts for 6 tourism projects

The Ministry of Tourism approved contracts for 6 tourism projects, with an investment value of approximately 320 billion Syrian pounds, providing 2000 job opportunities.

The ministry said in a statement that these contracts included the Medina Tourist Complex Project, the Aleppo Citadel Project, the Karnak site, Ras Al-Basit in Lattakia, the Marina of Tartous, the real estate site 748 Al-Hijaz, and the Opaline Restaurant, Youth City Hotel in Damascus.

The ministry said that the capacity of these projects is 2,500 hotel beds, and about 8,000 feeding chairs.

It is noteworthy that the Tourism Investment Forum 2019, which was held at the end of last October in Tartous, presented investment opportunities for the aforementioned projects ,the appropriate environment for their establishment and operation in addition to other projects.
