The meeting of the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Talal Al-Barazi with the heads of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce concluded that a shopping festival will be held, whereby the union will, through the chambers of commerce, launch a wide campaign, inviting all shops and merchants to participate in the shopping festival, which will start from next Monday for a week.

The director of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Firas Jijkli stated that during the festival, real reductions on the market price will be applied to all goods, and coordination in this regard will take place between the chambers in the governorates, the Federation of Chambers and the Ministry of Internal Trade, to grant possible facilities to the participating outlets in the festival.

It was agreed to announce four seasonal festivals for certain commodities, the most important of which will be at the end of next month, and the Federation will invite in all governorates a festival called “back to schools”, which is specialized in stationery, bags, school clothes, and any special requirements for the student, so that direct sale From the producer or importer to the consumer directly. In addition to an agreement to set up food festivals, they will be frequent and do not have a specific time, and merchants will be asked to start them immediately with certain suitable places.
