An Iranian delegation in Syria to secure the needs of the two countries’ markets

Talal Al-Barazi, Syrian Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, discussed with the Secretary of the Iranian-Syrian Economic Relations Committee, advisor to the first vice president of Iran, “Hassan Dana’i Far” and the accompanying economic delegation, the needs of the two countries commodities food and consumer needs.

The Syrian Minister of Industry, Muhammad Maan Zain Al-Abidin, also met with “Hassan Dana’i Far”, and a number of representatives of Iranian companies, such as Itca Company, the Iranian Bonyad Foundation, and the Iranian Export Bank.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Industry, the minister emphasized the need for Iranian companies to contribute to the rehabilitation and development of industrial public companies in Syria, to establish joint investment projects in various industrial fields, such as the cement industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the food and petrochemical industries, oils, and batteries.

The two sides discussed the possibility of exporting Syrian industrial products to Iranian markets, exchanging products between the two countries, benefiting from the provisions of the Free Trade Agreement, the mutual recognition agreement for certificates of conformity of products, and the results of tests to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.
