The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Talal Al-Barazi stated during his meeting with members of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce that all price reduction initiatives launched by merchants have been registered, therefore announced officially, and will be placed on the page of the Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection through Facebook, on the Chamber of Commerce page Damascus, and there will be follow-up through the committees, while encouraging more initiatives in this framework.

He pointed out that these initiatives will have a positive impact, and the important thing is that the Chamber of Commerce expressed their willingness to work to make great efforts to reduce prices as much as they can, according to the facts of the reality.

He added: “In any case, it is necessary to cooperate with the main partners, namely the Damascus Chamber of Commerce and all the chambers of commerce in the provinces, and we will work with each other to secure basic and consumer materials, at prices as low as possible”.
