3 billion SP revenues of free zones during 8 months

The Public Authority for Free Zones issued a report on its work for 2019 until the end of the eighth month.

According to the report, the revenues of free zones amounted to 3,025 billion Syrian pounds, while the value of imports amounted to 33 billion pounds, while exports were worth 32 billion pounds.

The report pointed out that the volume of capital invested in foreign currencies amounted to 751 million dollars with a number of investors amounted to 967 investors, while the number of workers employed by investors amounted to 6498 workers, and the value of customs duties collected for the entry of goods from the free zones to the local market 5.056 billion Syrian pounds.
