Russian company “S T G logistic” invests in Syria

Russian private company “STG Logistic” obtained a license from the Ministry of Economy to operate in Syria, with a capital of 2 billion rubles, and was based in Damascus.

According to the media, the company’s field of operation in Syria will be the extraction and production of mineral, synthetic and nitrogenous fertilizers, providing services in the field of extracting natural resources, producing inorganic chemicals, producing cement, lime and gypsum, assembling industrial machinery and equipment, and drawing up construction designs.

Zakhid Shakhsovarov, who lives in Damascus, was appointed director of the company’s subsidiary by a decision of the parent company in Moscow and duly certified.

It is worth mentioning that this company is a subsidiary of the Russian company (Stroy Trans Gas), which obtained earlier the right to invest Syrian phosphate from the eastern mines in Palmyra, and owned by a Russian businessman.

The Russian company also recently received a contract to qualify and invest the state fertilizer company in Homs.
