Chinese technology giant Huawei has launched its latest smart phone in Munich, its first mobile device free of widespread Google applications due to US sanctions.

“Because of the US ban on some phones, we can’t provide them with Google apps,” said Richard Yu, head of Huawei Consumer Branch, while unveiling the company’s latest phones, the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.

Richard Yu stressed that the parallel platform of the “Play Store” created by the Chinese giant company offers 45 thousand applications through the exhibition of Huawei applications.
