The head of Damascus Rural Chamber of Commerce, Waseem Al-Qattan, said that the partnership between decision-making and work between the business sector and the government is the way to improve the economy and achieve development in Syria. He stressed the need to have the ability to improve the dialogue between the government and the business sector, traders, industrialists and investors in order to achieve the development goals, especially in light of the difficult conditions Syria faces and facing the great challenges imposed by the war. This necessitated the need to work on developing and expanding the role of the business sector to meet these challenges side by side with the government.
He said in a press statement: “Every day, the dialogue in Syria develops between the government and the business sector. He called for enlarging the circle of businessmen and engaging them in the process of dialogue with the government in order to reach the highest levels of understanding and lead to maximizing the role of the private sector in the development process.
