The Investment Authority announced the projects implemented in 2018: The projects under implementation in 2018 have reached 35 projects at an estimated investment cost of 9 billion Syrian pounds and the employment of 2256 workers, while in 2017 the number of projects under implementation 22 projects at an investment cost estimated 530 billion pounds Syria and an operational capacity of 4660 workers.

On the projects side, three projects were implemented during the year 2018 at a cost of one billion Syrian pounds and the operation of 800 workers. In 2017, six projects were implemented at a cost of 3 billion Syrian pounds and operating for 376 workers.

The industrial sector accounted for 60 percent of the total number of projects in 2018, and 34 projects began, including serious stages of implementation and obtained licenses in addition to executive steps on the ground, 27 of which were included and licensed in 2018 itself, noting that the projects Implemented in 2018 are industrial projects, in the fields of human pharmaceutical industry, concreto and bridge crane
